Xibo CMS 3.3.7 Released

We are pleased to announce the seventh patch to the 3.3 version of the Xibo CMS. The codename for this version is “Borrelly”.

19P/Borrelly, a periodic comet, which was visited by the spacecraft Deep Space 1 in 2001. The comet last came to perihelion (closest approach to the Sun) on February 1, 2022 and will next come to perihelion on December 11, 2028.

Fixes and Features

This release is a bug release which contains 11 resolved issues.

• 3077: Display Group: sorting by "member" does not work
• 3076: Users: home folder goes back to root on edit form
• 3075: Ad Campaigns: cannot set sharing options on new campaign
• 3074: Ad Campaigns: edit option not accessible to a non-super admin
• 3072: Folders : non super admin user created folder permission issue
• 3070: Users: setting a users password only works if you also change something else on the form
• 3065: Schedule : Layout/Campaign filter "disappears" after add/edit form is opened
• 3063: Grid filtering : Tag filter does not trigger table reload
• 3067: Twig error on development CMS's
• 3066: README: update with clearer installation instructions.
• 3064: Widgets: Text/Ticker/Etc fail to load on devices with webviews older than Chrome 49

Players

We recommend using player software of the same version as your CMS. The latest player software is available here.

v2 players will connect to a v3 CMS, but please be aware that new v3 features will not be supported.

1.8 players will also function but please be aware that v2/v3 features will not be supported.

The minimum version of Xibo for webOS that will function with a v3 CMS is v2 R206.

The minimum version of Xibo for Tizen that will function with a v3 CMS is v2 R202.
