We are thrilled to announce the latest CMS release, Xibo v4.3.0. The codename for this version is “Metcalf”.
23P/Metcalf is a periodic comet in the Solar System. First discovered on 20th July 1847, the comet was rediscovered on the 21st August 1919 by Joel Hastings Metcalf.
What’s new in Xibo 4.3.0?
Xibo 4.3.0 introduces exciting new functionality and enhancements to improve the user experience and help us to continuously refine and evolve the CMS.
Interactive updates
We’ve made it easier to create interactive actions in your CMS. Now, you can simply drag an arrow from one item to another to set up actions whilst in the new Interactive Mode. We’ve also added three new interactive tools, including a Button widget, so making buttons is faster and simpler.
Feedback collection
The floating help button at the bottom right of your CMS has been improved. It now provides you more information about the CMS and lets you quickly send us feedback or feature requests to help us continue to meet your needs.
Welcome page updates
The Welcome Page (found by clicking ‘reshow welcome’ in your CMS) has been updated. You can now quickly access training videos and walkthroughs directly from your CMS.
PHP 8.4
Xibo now runs on the latest version of PHP, helping your digital signage stay secure and efficient.
Enhancements
4.3.0 introduces over 20 fixes and enhancements.
