Open Source Digital Signage
Everything you need to run a digital signage network. AGPLv3 or later open source licenced.
What is Open Source Digital Signage?
At Xibo, we pride ourselves in being an open source solution and are committed to staying open source! We believe in Digital Signage for all, regardless of skill or technological knowledge.
But if you’re new to the world of open source, you might be wondering what open source is and what it means for your business.
Unlike closed source software, where a developer or company owns the source code and it is not accessible to the general public, open source code is publicly available online. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to read the code, learn from it and improve it, provided that anything they do with it complies with the open source licence it has been made available under. Xibo is proud of our open source Content Management System and Windows player, which together provide a fully functional open source digital signage solution.

Our windows player is packed with features and supports the latest CMS release.
Features almost always come to Windows players first!
