Xibo Statistics
You may have noticed a new box on the sidebar today “Xibo Statistics”.
We’re very interested to know what the takeup for Xibo has been, so the next rc release of Xibo (1.0.0-rc3) will include optional anonymous statistics gathering.
If your Xibo server has access to the internet, and you choose to do so, it will report back to us once every 28 days the following information:
- Version
- Number of Displays Licensed
This is done in an anonymous way using a randomly generated identifier which cannot be linked to you.
We would really urge you to allow us to collect these statistics, as it will help us to target work in the future to the install base of the project.
