Introducing the DSCS95 Xibo for Android Media Player

We're pleased to announce that we're extending our range of Android hardware to meet a greater variety of customer requirements. Introducing the new DSDevices DSCS95 media player.

The DSCS95 is an excellent choice of media player, suitable for customers who don’t need all the additional features of a higher specification device, and need to prioritise cost over speed or storage, without sacrificing reliability. The DSCS95 is designed for customers with simpler digital signage needs such as single regions with basic video or image content.

If you have more complex digital signage requirements, and are looking for a media player that gives you the flexibility to show layouts with multiple regions, use Xibo’s interactive features, or show web or streaming content, then the DSCS9X is the media player we’d recommend. With a faster processor and more storage and RAM, the DSCS9X is a great choice.

For customers who have a large display network with basic content requirements on most displays, but more complex needs in a single location, you can mix and match the DSCS95 and DSCS9X! This gives you even greater flexibility and creates a more cost effective signage network.

Like the DSCS9X, the DSCS95 has an updated version of Xibo for Android and has features you've come to expect from a DSDevices unit - including CEC control of a compatible attached TV and support for screen rotation.

The DSCS95 costs £81 | $95 | €94* and pre-orders start today. We estimate units shipping to Rest of World will begin dispatching week commencing 5th December, and to Europe week commencing 12th December.
