We would like to announce the release of the first patch for Xibo CMS v2.2. The codename for this series is “Olbers”.
4 issues have been fixed in this release.
Our recent 2.2.0 release was released without updating the minimum PHP requirements to 7.0.8 or later, for which we apologise. Thank you to those who highlighted this!
An issue was also identified with the new Image processing feature:
bug#2032
Images with any dimension larger than 1920 uploaded since 2.2.0 will be in a corrupted state. If you are running on Xibo in the Cloud these have been fixed for you. If you are running on a self-hosted or Docker installation, 2.2.1 will fix future images. We have made a task available to fix existing ones.
Repairing existing corrupted images
Cloud customers do not need to run this task as this has been fixed for you.
To run this task log into your CMS, navigate to Administration -> Tasks and click "Add Task". Find the "Clear Cached Media Data" task in the list and click Save. The task will run once, repair the images and disable itself.
