Xibo 1.0.0-rc3 Released

Share

The Xibo development team are proud to announce the availability of Xibo 1.0.0 release candidate 3.

This is primarily a bug fix release candidate and we would therefore recommend that everyone using rc1 or rc2 upgrade, especially in non-UK timezones.

Many thanks to everyone who reported issues with rc1 and rc2. We would like to thank each one of you for your invaluable help.

Important Notes:

  • 1.0.0-rc3 is NOT compatible with databases from 1.0.0-rc2 or earlier. Databases are converted as part of the upgrade process.
  • 1.0.0-rc3 server REQUIRES 1.0.0-rc3 clients. Please upgrade all your clients to the new version.

Full upgrade instructions are in the CHANGELOG file, available in the download section linked below.

Please report any bugs in the Bugs section of Launchpad
Please report any enhancement/feature requests in the Blueprints section of Launchpad
Please ask for help/advice in the Answers section of Launchpad

You can download a copy of the server and client from https://launchpad.net/xibo/1.0/1.0.0-rc3.
