We would like to announce Xibo for Android v1.7 R53. This release works with Xibo CMS versions 1.4, 1.6 and 1.7.
Features and Issues resolved in this release:
- Automatic Update for rooted devices (see the Upgrade Guide for more details)
- Improved logging for common issues
- Fixed problem detecting SD cards on some devices
- Allowed utf-8 display names
- Allowed user to skip the “connect to CMS” wizard
- Provided the licence dialogue for players connected to 1.7 CMS’s
