Spring Signage are pleased to announce Xibo for Android v1.7 R58. This release works with Xibo CMS versions 1.4, 1.6, 1.7 and has legacy mode for 1.8.
Features and Issues resolved in this release:
- Made the “unlicensed” message on the Status window more visible in red text
- Added support for connecting to a 1.8 CMS for alpha/beta testers
- Fixed an issue with the screen shot request not starting up if the application had been restarted
- Fixed an issue where images got smaller over time on some devices
- Fixed an issue with the Layering of regions when there is more than one item in the region
- Included a new option to use a texture to display video, which eliminates the whole screen black flash when a video changes on some devices. (requires CMS 1.7.6, patch)
