Xibo for Android v2 R215 Available

Xibo Signage are pleased to announce Xibo for Android v2 R215. This release works with Xibo CMS version 2.x and has legacy mode for versions 1.4, 1.6, 1.7 and 1.8.

We have addressed 5 issues in this release:

  • Fix a rare/intermittent issue where the player is stuck on a black screen when playing videos
  • Further improvements made to Interrupt Layout playback so that target Share of Voice is more consistently met
  • Improvements to Interrupt Layout playback so that Interrupt Layouts are not played continuously if the normal schedule is invalid
  • Locally installed SSL certificates are now permissable
  • Philips integration to power on/off the screen backlight. Added Commands documented here: Command Functionality
