We are pleased to announce the release of Xibo for Android v4 R405. This release will connect to a v4 content management system. It will connect to an earlier CMS in legacy mode. If you are upgrading your network from v1/v2/v3 we recommend upgrading your CMS first.

Fixes and Features

This release is a bug release which contains 12 resolved issues.

• Display Management: support for the 4.1 display alerts feature
• Display Management: workaround for audit logging issue in CMS 4.1.0
• DSDevices: turn of ADB unless enabled in settings
• Hisense: experimental support for Hisense professional displays running Android 11
• PPDS: fix for screenshots not working on Android 10 and later
• Schedule: fix for a scheduled layout not starting on time if the default layout is showing
• Schedule: fix for a scheduled layout not being removed when the end date is reached
• Schedule: support for the 4.1 schedule criteria feature
• Schedule: support for the 4.1 data connector feature
• SSP: fix for 401 errors flooding the logs when an Ad cannot be downloaded
• Video: migrate ExoPlayer to AndroidX
• Widget: support for DataSet widget which has a data connector
