Upgrading Xibo for ChromeOS
The latest zip.chrome
version of Xibo for ChromeOS can be downloaded from the Downloads page.
Download, Upload and Install
Xibo for ChromeOS can be upgraded via the CMS:
- Download the new
zip.chrome
version. - Select Player Versions under the Displays section of the main CMS menu.
- Click the Add Version button.
- Upload the downloaded
zip.chrome
file to the CMS using the file uploader. - Once the file is uploaded to the CMS navigate to Display Settings and click on the row menu for the selected Display Profile.
- Find the Default profile for ChromeOS, click on Edit and use the Player Version drop down menu to the select the uploaded Player Version file:

- Save
All ChromeOS displays in the CMS will download and upgrade to the new version.
Player Version Override
Unlike other types of player it is not possible to run different versions of the ChromeOS player within a single CMS.
