Hisense Commercial Displays SoC

Xibo for Android v4 R406 or newer is required for use with Hisense Commercial Displays.
Xibo is working with Hisense Commercia Display to offer a supported Xibo Android Player experience on the DM Series running Android 11. The following product line is supported:

Install
Installation is via USB stick or direct download via the built in browser. After installing the Xibo Player App, follow the guide to connect to your CMS.
Features
Information
Returning the mac and ip address of the screen is supported. The screen will also report its backlight and current input source to the CMS.
Commands
DM series supports several commands from the CMS:
- Mute:
mute|0
&mute|1
- Screen:
screenOn
&screenOff
- Reboot:
reboot
Screenshot
DM series supports full screen screenshots, including video and user interface
Video
Displaying two videos simultaneously on the same layout is supported. Gapless playback is possible when showing one video per layout.
Remote upgrade
Xibo supports remote upgrades on the Hisense commercial displays. Please follow the steps in the Xibo for Android upgrade guide for more information on how to do that.
Supported Models
When using a display model for the first time, we recommend thoroughly testing the display with your events prior to installation on site, to ensure the display meets your requirements.

Older models
Xibo for Android does run on older models with a basic feature set, excluding commands, screenshot and remote upgrade. If you wish to use an older model we suggest thorough testing to ensure it meets your needs.
